Security Rating Services

Security Rating Services  (SRS) use assessments of an organization’s observable safety and security profile and evidence from actual cyber security breaches. Data on trends and emerging vulnerabilities are taken from around the world to generate Cyber Security Risk profiles and Scores.

These Cyber Security Scores are the IT / Cyber Security equivalent to the well-known credit ratings published by Experian and Equifax in the UK, and S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch in the USA, used in financial risk management and the credit rating of organizations, services, products, and even nations.

However, unlike credit scoring, Cyber Security Scores have no commonly agreed standards or methodologies today. The scores produced by SRS are inevitably somewhat subjective and, importantly, impossible to reproduce reliably over time.

Cyber Tzar’s approach is quantitative and based exclusively on identifying known vulnerabilities in your IT Estate. The resulting Cyber Security Scores are accurate, reliable, predictable and repeatable.

Cyber Tzar is setting the new standard for Cyber Security Scores.

Our SCORE and BENCHMARK products help you manage your cyber security risk exposure. Our SCORE products generate a Cyber Security Score for your website, letting you know quickly and simply how well it is doing. The BENCHMARK product allows you to compare yourself against your competitors and your industry marketplace and help you understand how you rank.

Benchmarking Benefits

Cyber risk benchmarking provides several benefits to organizations, including:

  1. Identification of Risks: Benchmarking helps organizations identify potential cyber risks by comparing their systems and processes against industry standards and best practices.
  2. Improved Security Posture: By benchmarking, organizations can identify areas for improvement in their security posture and take steps to remediate them.
  3. Prioritization of Solutions: Benchmarking enables organizations to prioritize solutions to cyber risks based on the severity and likelihood of impact.
  4. Cost Reduction: By reducing the number of vulnerabilities and improving the overall security posture, organizations can reduce the cost of security and minimize the impact of data breaches.
  5. Competitive Advantage: Organizations that can demonstrate a strong cyber security posture through benchmarking are better positioned to win new business and retain existing customers.
  6. Increased Confidence: Benchmarking can help organizations gain the confidence of stakeholders, customers and partners, by demonstrating their commitment to security.
